3 Delicious Twists on the Classic Crème brûlée


Creme brulee is also known as burnt cream. This French dessert recipe is a rich custard base topped with a layer of hardened caramelized sugar. Normally, the classic creme brulee is served mildly chilled and the heat from the caramelizing method tends to warm the cool center custard.

I've created this simple recipe, with 3 delicious twists. You can see the surprise inside the cream custard when we consume this delicious dessert. With this delicious dessert, you can surprise your loved one. I love this dessert.

INGREDIENTS
Fresh cream / heavy cream - 600 ml Condensed milk - 110gm (If you don't have condensed milk you can add sugar instead, as per your taste) Vanilla paste - 1 tsp Egg yolk (room temperature) - 6 nos Sugar - 1 tbsp Chocolate - a few Blueberry - a few Rasberry - a few Extra sugar for caramelizing - 1 tbsp METHOD Heat pot on medium flame. Add fresh cream, condensed milk and vanilla paste. Mix well. Bring it to a boil. Stir occasionally. Preheat oven 150 degrees for about 10 mins. In a bowl, add egg yolk and sugar. Whisk well until it becomes creamy. Pour the hot milk mixture little by little. Whisk well. Strain the mixture into ramekins. You can add chocolate or blueberry or raspberry at the bottom of the ramekins. You can add your favorite fruit combinations. Place the ramekins in a baking tray. Pour hot water in the tray(for water bath). Bake at 150 degrees for about 35 - 40 mins. After 35 mins take the ramekins from the oven and let it cool for about 15mins. Refrigerate at least 2 hours. Overnight will be the best result. Add sugar into the creme custard and caramelize using a blow torch. Wait for 2 mins so that the caramelized portion becomes crusty. Enjoy!!
