Easy Chicken Fried Rice



INGREDIENTS

Basmati rice - 1 cup 
Hot water - 2 cups 
Boneless chicken OR Chicken breast - 180g
Beans - 100g
Carrots - 160g
Finely chopped garlic - 2tsp 
Butter - 2tbsp 
Pepper - 1/4tsp 
Chopped shallots - 120g ( 5 to 6 nos )
Salt to taste

Spices
Cardamom - 4
Cloves - 5
Star anise - 1
Small cinnamon stick - 1

METHOD
  1. Wash the rice well and set aside.
  2. Heat the pan and add butter, spices then saute for a few seconds. 
  3. Add half portion of shallots, mix well until it becomes brown.
  4. Add chicken, pepper, and salt to taste. Mix well and cook for 3 to 4 mins.
  5. After that add basmati rice, saute for a few seconds. Then add hot water and salt to taste.
  6. Close the lid and cook over medium heat for about 13 - 15 mins.
  7. Take another pan and add butter, remaining shallots, beans, carrots, spring onion, and salt to taste. (You can add your favorite veggies!!) cook for about 5 - 10mins.
  8. After veggies are cooked, mix with rice.
  9. Enjoy with ur favorite side dishes...
