INGREDIENTS
Chicken with bones - 1kg (you can use boneless chicken also)
Light soya sauce - 2tbsp
Tomato sauce - 2tbsp
Chilli powder - 2tbsp
Salt to taste
Oil - 1tbsp
Finely chopped ginger garlic - 2- 3 tbsp
Tomato - 1 (for tomato puree)
Lemon juice - 1tbsp
Green chilli - 1
Onions - 3
Corn flour - 1tbsp - mix with 1 cup of water
Capsicum - 1/2 cup
Pepper - 1 tsp
For marination:
Ginger garlic paste - 2 tbsp
Light soya sauce - 1tbsp
Tomato sauce - 1 - 2 tbsp
Chilli powder - 1 tbsp (instead of chilli powder you can use chilli sauce also)
Egg - 1
Corn flour - 4 - 5 tbsp
Salt to taste
Oil for frying
METHODFor marination
- Apply the gingergarlic paste, light soya sauce, tomato sauce, chilli powder, beaten egg, cornflour and salt on the chicken pieces. Mix well and rest for at least 30mins.
- Heat pan on medium flame, pour some oil for frying and add the marinated chicken pieces into the hot oil. Fry all the pieces and remove into another bowl.
For preparation
- Heat pan on a medium flame, pour some oil, while oil becomes hot, add finely chopped ginger-garlic, green chilli and saute for 1 or 2 mins until it becomes a light shade.
- Add onions, saute for 2 to 3 mins, then add salt, tomato puree(in a grinder add one tomato and grind until it becomes smooth), lemon juice, soya sauce, tomato sauce, chilli powder, pepper and
saute for 3 to 4 mins.
- Add cornflour mix, and mix well. Then add fried chicken pieces and capsicum. Cook for about 10mins or until it's cooked completely.
