This White Sauce Pasta is a perfect medley of aromatic flavours and rich creamy pasta. White Sauce Pasta is an easy-to-make recipe which can be prepared at home with some very simple ingredients.
INGREDIENTS
Water - 3 cups
Pasta - 1 cup
Olive oil - 1 to 2 tbsp
Chicken breast or boneless chicken - 1 no, 170 gm
Garlic - 3 cloves
Spring onion - as per taste
Carrots - as per taste
Capsicum - as per taste
Pepper powder - as per taste
Italian herbs - as per taste
All-purpose flour - 2 1/2 tsp
Butter - 1 to 2 tbsp
Milk - 1 1/2 cups
Salt - as per taste
METHOD
- Boil water, for cooking pasta.
- Add oil and salt.
- Add pasta into the boiling water.
- Cook for about 12-14 mins.
- Heat pan on medium flame. When pan becomes hot, add olive oil, then add chicken, salt and pepper. Saute for a few minutes.
- After chicken becomes half cooked, add garlic and saute, then add spring onions, capsicum and carrots. Cook for about 3 - 4 minutes.
- Transfer the chicken mix to a bowl.
- In the same pan, add butter and flour. Mix well.
- Stir until it becomes light colour.
- Add 1 cup milk. Stir until it becomes a thick paste.
- Add pepper, Italian herbs, salt. Mix well.
- Add 1/2 cup milk, saute for a few minutes until it becomes hot.
- Add chicken mix. mix well.
- Add cooked pasta. Mix well.
- Check salt and add salt if needed.
