Fried chicken cutlet - kerala style


Fried Chicken Cutlets is a Fusion recipe, which is loved by people of all age groups. This variation of the cutlet is a must-try appetizer in any party.

INGREDIENTS 500gm - Boneless chicken 4 -5 tbsp Oil (coconut oil) 3 - Onions, finely chopped 1 tsp - Garam masala 4 to 5 - Green chilli (as per your taste) 2 sprigs - Curry leaves 1 medium-size - Ginger 5 to 6 - Garlic cloves 3 - Potatoes (cooked) 6 - 7 pieces - Bread 2 - Eggs Salt to taste Marination: 1 tsp Chilli powder 1tsp Turmeric powder 1 1/2 tsp Pepper powder Salt to taste METHOD In a bowl add chicken, chili powder, turmeric powder, pepper powder, and salt. Mix well.Sit for at least 10mins. In a grinder, add ginger, garlic and curry leaves. Grind until its combined. In a heated pan, add oil and fry the marinated chicken. Let the fried chicken cool completely. Blend the chicken, don't over grind. In the same pan, add onion, green chili, ginger garlic paste and stir often for 2 to 3 mins. Add the blended chicken and garam masala. Mix well. Turn off heat, and add cooked potatoes into the mixture, mash the potatoes well. For bread crumbs, in a grinder add bread and blend until it becomes powder, or you can use ready-made bread crumbs. Finally, you can roll the mixture into your favorite shape and dip the mixture into egg and bread crumbs. Fry the dipped mixture until it becomes brown. Enjoy your dish :)
