Spices 1/4 tsp - Turmeric powder 1 tsp - Chilli powder 3 1/2 tsp - Pepper powder 1 tsp - Fennel seed powder 1 tsp - Garam masala powder 2 tbsp - Coriander powder Marination: 2 tsp - Turmeric powder 3 tsp - Chilli powder 1 tsp - Pepper powder Salt to taste METHOD
In a bowl add chicken, chili powder, turmeric powder, pepper powder, and salt. Mix well.Sit for at least 10mins. In a grinder, add ginger, garlic and curry leaves. Grind until its combined. In a heated pan, add oil and fry the marinated chicken. In the same pan, add onion and salt, mix well. Stir often until it becomes a golden color. Add ginger-garlic paste(with curry leaves) and mix well. Cook for another 10mins or until it becomes brown color. Add chopped tomatoes, mix well. Cook until it becomes soft and mushy. Add tomato paste stir often for 2 to 3 mins. Add spices, mix well. Add water up to your gravy thickness and quantity. Here I used 2 to 3 cups of water. Add salt if u want more. Please note that fried chicken contains salt. So be careful while adding salt. Add fried chicken, close lid and cook for about 30 to 45 mins or until cooked. Stir often. Enjoy your dish :)
