One Pan Chicken Biryani


This is my favourite biryani recipe. All in same pan emmmmm..very delicious.Must try. INGREDIENTS Kaima rice - 1 1/2 cup (you can use any kind of basmati rice) Oil - 2 tbsp Ghee - 1 tbsp Onion - 3 Hot water - 2 cups Crushed ginger garlic - 2 1/2 tbsp Tomato - 1 Lemon juice - 1 tbsp Salt - to taste Biryani masala - 2 tsp Curd - 4 to 5 tbsp For marination: Turmeric powder - 1 tsp Chilli powder - 1 tbsp Pepper - 1 tsp Salt - to taste METHOD - Wash the rice and keep it aside. - Add all spices in the chicken and mix well. Keep it marinated for at least 30 mins - Heat a pan and add oil. Once the oil becomes hot, add marinated chicken pieces and fry until it becomes half cooked. - Add ghee to the chicken and mix well. - Remove the fried chicken into another bowl. - In the same pan, add onions, crushed ginger, garlic saute until it becomes turn a golden colour. - Add tomato, lemon juice and salt, cook until it becomes mushy. - Add biryani masala and saute for a few minutes. - Add fried chicken pieces and mix well. - Add curd and mix well. Close lid and cook for about 10 mins or until it's cooked. - Add rice and mix well. Then add hot water. Check salt and add salt if needed. - Low flame, close lid and cook for about 15 mins or until all the water gets evaporated.(Don't open the lid in between) Enjoy :)
