Nadan Mutton Roast Kerala Style | Mutton Roast Recipe | Lamb Chops



Ingredients

Lamb / Mutton - 700gm (here I took lamb chops with bones)

Shallots - 1 1/2 cup Curry leaves - a few Crushed ginger garlic - 4 tbsp Coconut oil - 2 to 3 tbsp Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp Kashmiri chilli powder - 1 tsp Pepper powder - 1 tbsp (as per your taste) Garam masala - 1 tsp Coriander powder - 1 tsp Sliced onion - 2 no Salt - as per taste Sugar - 1/4 tsp Tomatoes - 2 Dried chilli - 2

Method

In a bowl, add mutton, all spices, crushed ginger garlic, and salt. Mix well. Transfer the marinated mutton into the pressure cooker and cook at medium flame for about 6 to 7 whistles. In a pan, add coconut oil. When oil becomes hot, add dried chilli, curry leaves, shallots, crushed ginger garlic, and salt. Saute well. Cook until color changes. Add one tomato and cook until mushy. Add cooked mutton and mix well. Check salt and add if needed. Add sugar and mix well. Cook for about 15 to 20mins. Add one tomato sliced and mix well. Don't overcook the tomatoes.
Mutton is ready :)
